30 Minutes Or Less
Jesse and Nick Swardson on improvised line in 30MOL making fun of Facebook.
Both actors revealed that a good chunk of the dialogue was improvised, including a scene in which Eisenberg’s character reacts to a Facebook conversation by saying “I don’t do that sh** anymore, I’m off the grid.”
That was me improvising, but not because of the movie I was in about Facebook; more just because that’s just what I thought my character would think of himself. . . . He is a guy who rejects the world. He is kind of empowered by this sense of loneliness and righteousness. But it was not a joke because of the movie. Had I known it would be taken that way I don’t think I would have said it because you don’t want to take people out of the movie; you want them to experience the character.
SWARDSON (to Jesse):
Facebook is so commonplace and you can make a reference like that and it doesn’t feel specific to the movie. It’s like everyone is part of it. It’s not like you making a tongue-in-cheek joke. It is something that that character would say.
It’s like referencing Linkedin.
Or the laser disc.
Mmm, Chicago style.

30 MINUTES OR LESS!!!
Oh Lord guys! I couldnt handle my life!
As soon as he appeared on screen I was like
There was so. much. HAND. PORN. And he was just so sexy..no. I couldnt even. Every time he cursed.
So then the cinema guy was sooo nice and he rooted around to find me a poster for it. AND HE FOUND THE LAST ONE! So he is my best friend now.
Well, as long as the sobbing was gross.
So today the ad for 30 Minutes or Less comes on and I have not seen it on TV yet so I was freaking out and my 11 year old brother said to me “You know, I think Jesse is actually very good looking”
At first I was like
Then I was like
Brothers can see the light.
Same thing, right?
This movie was so kickass.
Just another Thursday night.
Cruz & Luis. They stabbed a Prison Guard in the eye with a spoon.
That’s what she said.
